4130 Road - Hunter Green - (8-Speed)

Hunter Green was one of the 4130 Road's colorways, first listed in 2020 and retired in June 2026. The 4130 Road was State Bicycle Co.'s first geared road bike, and it leaned classic: a double-butted 4130 chromoly frame, aluminum drop bars, and 8-speed down tube shifting to a Sunrace RD-R81 derailleur. The CNC-machined crank carried a 44t ring over an 11-28t cassette, a range meant for hilly commutes. Modern touches included a 1 1/8-inch threadless stem and light, wide Lo-Pro rims with sealed-bearing hubs and quick-release levers on 28c tires, with room for 32c. The frame took front and rear racks, which made it a practical commuter.
