6061 Black Label v2 - Valley Edition
Valley Edition arrived on the 6061 Black Label v2 in 2021 and was retired on January 5, 2022. Black Label bikes were State's aluminum street machines, built on a double-butted 6061 frame with a tapered head tube and an Essor USA full carbon fork for a stiff, responsive ride. The CNC'd 170mm Black Label track crank used a 144 BCD, which opened up a wide range of chainring options, and the stock 48x16 gear spun through a sealed, low-flange flip-flop hub. Mid-profile wheels, CST 23c tires and an aero race saddle completed a build that weighed under 18 lb in a 55cm.
