City Bike - The Azure

The Azure belonged to State's City Bike line, a modern take on a classic style, and it was introduced in 2019 and retired on December 18, 2022. It had a steel frame, fenders and a chain guard to keep rider and bike clean, a riveted leatherette saddle and retro-styled metal pedals. Mustache handlebars with lock-on leatherette grips kept you upright, cushy 35c tires smoothed out city streets, and a coaster brake did the stopping. Riders chose between a single speed and a Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal hub with a grip shifter for more demanding routes.
