State Bicycle Co. Core-Line - Ghoul
Ghoul spent its life in the Core-Line, the fixed gear and single speed series State Bicycle Co. became best known for, from its introduction in 2019 until it was retired in January 2026. It used a durable steel frame with seat stay rack mounts, fork eyelets, and cable stops, a flip-flop hub for fixed or freewheel riding, and deep-V wheels on 40 mm high-flange sealed-bearing hubs with 700x28c tires. Standard gearing was 44x16, with front and rear caliper brakes and Vans grips on riser bars. It was also tested by nine independent cyclists picked by Bicycling Magazine for a field test.
