State Bicycle Co. x The Notorious B.I.G. - "Ready To Die" - Core-Line
"Ready To Die" was a Core-Line bike made in collaboration with The Notorious B.I.G., introduced in 2020 and retired on May 1, 2021. Underneath the collab it was a straight-up Core-Line fixed gear / single speed: durable steel frame with seat stay rack mounts and cable stops, horizontal dropouts with integrated chain tensioners, and a flip-flop hub carrying a 16T freewheel and a fixed cog at 44x16. Deep-V wheels spun on 40mm high-flange sealed hubs. Riser bars with Vans grips were standard, with bullhorn or drop bars as options, across four sizes for riders 5'0" to 6'2".
