Retired 4130 Road · 2022 · National Park Foundation collab

State Bicycle Co. x National Park Foundation - 4130-Road - Glacier Edition - (8-Speed)

Part of State Bicycle Co.'s collaboration with the National Park Foundation, the 4130 Road Glacier Edition was introduced in 2021 and retired on January 3, 2022. The 4130 Road was State's first geared road bike, a nod to classic road machines built on the double-butted 4130 chromoly frame the company started with. Its 8-speed setup used down tube shifters, a Sunrace RD-R81 derailleur, a CNC-machined crank with a 44t ring and an 11-28 cassette. Lo-Pro wheels with sealed-bearing hubs and quick-release levers wore 28c tires, the rims could handle 32c, and the frame took front and rear racks.
