Retired Klunker · 2022 · National Park Foundation collab
State Bicycle Co. x National Park Foundation - Klunker - Grand Canyon Edition
Out of State Bicycle Co.'s collaboration with the National Park Foundation came this Klunker, the Grand Canyon Edition. It was introduced in 2021 and retired on January 3, 2022. Like every Klunker, it mixed beach cruiser, mountain bike and BMX: BMX-style 36-hole rims, frame and V-bar, with 27.5" wheels and 2.3" WTB knobby tires. A single 42t-to-22t gear and a coaster brake meant nothing to shift and nothing to adjust. It put the rider upright on flat pedals that worked with any shoes, and yes, it came with a bottle opener.
