4130 All-Road - Root Beer - SRAM Rival AXS
FULLY WIRELESS STEEL GRAVEL
The 4130 All-Road is built for riders who want to do everything — gravel races, bikepacking missions, commutes, trail days — without buying multiple bikes or compromising on any of them. This build pairs that revamped 4130 Chromoly Steel frame with a fully wireless SRAM AXS drivetrain.
Choose Rival XPLR AXS for 13 speeds and a tighter gear progression, or Eagle Transmission "Mullet" AXS for 520% of range and a bailout gear that will get you up anything. Both come with Rival E1 carbon levers, hydraulic disc brakes, and a hangerless derailleur bolted straight through the frame — no cable to route, no housing to contaminate, no indexing that drifts out over a season of dust and grit.
Then build it your way: 700c or 650b, three fork options, and clearance for up to 700c x 55mm or 650b x 60mm. UDH, dropper-ready, and mounts for three bottles plus racks, fenders, and cargo.

Platform Highlights
- Fully Wireless SRAM AXS — Your choice of two drivetrains, both with Rival E1 carbon levers and hydraulic disc brakes. Battery and charger included.
- 4130 Chromoly Steel Frame — Tough, repairable, and with a ride quality that carbon can't replicate. Built for the long haul.
- UDH-Compatible — Required for the hangerless Full Mount derailleurs, and it means no hunting for proprietary hangers anywhere in the world.
- Dropper Post Ready — Internal routing already in place. Add a dropper whenever you're ready.
- Semi-Internal Cable Routing — Cleaner than fully external, easier to service than fully internal. With AXS there's far less to route in the first place.
-
Tire Clearance — Plenty of room for real-world rubber in any configuration:
- Frame & Standard Fork: 700c x 55mm (2.2") or 650b x 60mm (2.4")
- Frame & Monster Fork (Carbon): 700c x 55mm (2.2") or 650b x 55mm (2.2")
- Mounts for Everything — 3 water bottle mounts plus rack, fender, and accessory mounts. Pack it up or strip it down.
Why wireless on a gravel bike
Electronic shifting usually gets sold on speed. On a bike that lives in dust, mud, and grit, it's worth having for a duller reason: nothing about it degrades between services.
Cable housing contaminates. Cables stretch. Indexing drifts. The shift you had in March isn't the shift you have in August. A wireless derailleur moves to a position it already knows, every time, regardless of what the bike has been through — and both of these derailleurs bolt through the frame with no hanger to bend and no limit screws to set.

700c — Fast & Versatile
- 23mm tubeless-capable rims (tape, valves, and sealant required)
- Continental Terra Hardpack TR 50mm
- Best for: gravel racing, mixed-surface riding, fast days out
650b — Capable & Comfortable
- 25mm tubeless-capable rims (tape, valves, and sealant required)
- Vittoria Barzo 2.1" knobby tires
- More volume, more grip, more trail capability
- Best for: bikepacking, rough terrain, off-road days
The Continental Terra Hardpack TR 50 scored 18.6 watts rolling resistance in independent lab testing at BicycleRollingResistance.com — earning a 4.5/5 "Highly Recommended" rating and putting it among the fastest gravel tires at this width. A flat central tread keeps things quick on pavement and hard-pack, while developed shoulder lugs and Continental's ShieldWall puncture protection handle the rough stuff. PureGrip compound means grip and durability don't get traded off against each other. At 50mm, this tire smooths out terrain that would rattle a narrower setup — without giving up speed.
